Recently, I had the joy of working with Cassie and Chase, a soon-to-be-parent couple who radiated excitement and love during their maternity session at the breathtaking Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.
Our journey to capturing these special images wasn't without its challenges. Mother Nature had other plans for our initial shoot dates, forcing us to reschedule twice due to rain. But as the saying goes, good things come to those who wait! When the day finally arrived, the Biltmore Estate gardens were in full bloom, creating a magical backdrop for Cassie and Chase's maternity portraits.
The vibrant purple wisteria stole the show, adding a touch of whimsical elegance to the scene. We strategically utilized the natural light, finding a perfect balance between soft, dappled shade and warm, direct sunlight that accentuated the lush greenery. Cassie, a vision of radiant pregnancy, looked stunning in a flowy blue dress that accentuated her baby bump beautifully.
Throughout our time together, Cassie and Chase's genuine love and excitement for their impending arrival was infectious. I couldn't stop thinking to myself about how close I am to meeting my daughter! The playful way they interacted with each other brought a sense of fun and lightheartedness to the session.
